Dr. Vishwanand Yadav is a dedicated and experienced Visiting Professor of Psychology at Indira Gandhi University. With a strong academic background and a passion for understanding human behavior, Dr. Yadav brings extensive expertise in Rehabilitation Psychology, Human Resource Development in Disability Rehabilitation, Experimental Psychology, Research Methodology, Psychometrics, Measurement & Evaluation, and Guidance & Counseling.
Dr. Yadav’s academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Psychology from M.D. University, Rohtak, along with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling and is registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India as a Rehabilitation Professional.
Dr. Yadav has held significant positions, including Head of the Department of Psychology and Professor at Central University of Haryana, where he also served as a Course Coordinator for RCI courses and First Appellate Authority. His contributions extend to test development, with the creation and standardization of several psychological scales, including the Cognitive Difficulty Scale, Social Health Questionnaire, Perceived Discrimination Scale, Clinical Case Study Guide, and Academic Stress Scale.
Dr. Yadav has published extensively in national and international journals, covering diverse areas such as mood disorders, disability rehabilitation, aggression, impulsivity, stress, well-being, and the psychological impact of COVID-19. He has also presented numerous research papers at national and international seminars and conferences, and has chaired technical sessions at these events.
Dr. Yadav has also contributed to the field through book chapters and has undertaken research projects, including projects funded by the UGC and ICMR. He has supervised numerous dissertations, M.Phil. theses, and Ph.D. candidates.
Dr. Yadav is committed to empowering individuals, advancing psychological research and practice, and has been actively involved in training and resource person roles in various workshops and programs.
